Mindfulness for Health

enquire-nowThe Thrive Mindfulness for Health course will help you improve your quality of life and overall health. You will learn how to manage pain, illness and fatigue. Not only will you learn mindfulness meditation and mindful movement practices, but you’ll gain the added benefit of working with an Occupational Therapist who is experienced in working holistically with people with long term health conditions.

In this course you will learn how to notice how you are really feeling, and discover how your default thoughts and actions can often lead to more discomfort. Through the use of mindful techniques, you will learn to recognise what works for you when dealing with pain, illness or fatigue.

N.B. This course is not for people who are acutely unwell – if you have any questions about the suitability of this course for you, please contact me to discuss your individual needs.

It may be possible to offer individual Occupational Therapy sessions alongside this course (at an additional rate).

Individual, one-to-one mindfulness sessions are also offered if you feel you would benefit from further personalised support. For more information on these sessions, click here.

“The first time I have ever felt the urge to review a course as it has significantly changed not only my well being but also my outlook on life. It feels as if I am coming face to face with my actual self for the first time. Learning how to breath properly- sounds crazy I know but when you begin the course, you learn how to engage with the present moment. This alone will drastically remove all feelings of anxiety and depression, so often the effects of dealing with pain. Not to mention the ease in which the teacher engages with the class in a relaxed and friendly manner.”
