I’m Holly Sly, the owner and founder of Thrive: Mindfulness and Wellbeing, Norwich, I’m passionate about using mindfulness and occupational therapy to help my clients embrace life and do the things they love to do.
I am a qualified Occupational Therapist and have spent many years working in the NHS. I have worked in all areas of mental health care, and have experience working with people with long term health conditions. Occupational therapists use a holistic approach and meaningful activities to help promote independence in all areas of people’s lives.
After becoming a mother of two small boys, I felt I needed something to help me with the stresses and strains of raising a family. Through exploring mindfulness techniques and attending mindfulness training, I discovered new, exciting and positive ways to embracing the challenges of parenthood.
I decided to set up in private practice to deliver a unique combination of mindfulness and occupational therapy, to allow others to find their way towards a more rounded, calmer life. Through the use of mindfulness, psychology, and purposeful meaningful activity, a course from Thrive Mindfulness will enable you to find your way to where you want to be in your life.
Having worked in clinical practice for many years, and having been a researcher at Harvard University, it is important to me that the courses we offer at Thrive Mindfulness are grounded in the latest scientific evidence base. We offer secular, non-religious courses which are accessible to people of all faiths or no faith.
