marking international happiness day - a free class for kids! - Thrive Mindfulness & Wellbeing

Classes in happiness should bring a smile to any child’s face and that’s exactly what we are offering – better still, they’re free!

To mark International Happiness Day on March 20, Occupational therapist, mindfulness teacher and Relax Kids coach, Holly Sly, will be running free Relax Kids classes at the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library, Central Norwich on March 19, 11-11.45 and 12-12.45. The classes are for children aged 5-10! Younger siblings welcome. Holly will also be running Relax Kids classes at Barford school on the day itself, the 20 March, for the whole school. Relax Kids Norfolk will also be running a miles of smiles table at Gorleston Library on Monday 20 March.

Relax Kids in conjunction with Action for Happiness are supporting International Happiness day by offering free classes across the country, a free happiness pack and miles of smiles.Relax kids classes offer a 7 step programme to help children learn to focus, be more confident and learn to relax to help support their emotional health and wellbeing. Classes include movement, games, stretches, peer massage, breathing, positive affirmations and visualisation.

There will also be a chance for children to write down a happy moment or what happiness means to them. These words will be used to create a colourful miles of smiles paper chain at the Millennium library which Victoria Walters (RK coach) will be running.

I love being a relax kids coach and this is a great way to spread happiness and confidence to as many children as possible.
