8 week mindfulness course in Norwich

The 8 week Mindfulness Course is Back!!!
This 8 week mindfulness course will help you to reduce stress and anxiety, develop strategies to create change in your life, help you overcome challenges and allow you to feel calmer, happier and more joyful!
Through present moment awareness we can learn to let go of negative self talk, to stop going over and over our worries, to let go of your to do list and experience the wonder of ‘now’. It’s in the ‘now’ that we can experience contentment and happiness in our lives.
You will learn:
-how to let go of your worries that make you feel stressed and anxious.
– to enjoy life again rather than just getting by.
-a range of secular meditations to help you build new neural pathways in your brain.
– informal mindfulness practices to help embed mindfulness into your daily life
-mindful movement

As part of the course you will get
-workbook and guided meditations
-8, 2hr sessions led by an an accredited ‘breathworks’ mindfulness teacher and specialist Occupational Therapist with 0ver 10 years experience in mental health.
-1, 2hr drop in group for graduates of the course
– Tea and biscuits (usually of the chocolate variety)
– access to a small group of like minded people in a supportive environment to help you make a real and lasting change to your life.

 Tai Chi for Health/Tai Chi Pandas/Seated Tai Chi Classes

Every Tuesday at the Willow Centre, Cringleford

- 10:15-11:00 – Tai Chi Panda’s (tai chi adventures for 3 years+)

- 11:15 – 12:15 – Tai Chi for Health (adult beginners class)

- 12:30 – 1:15 – Seated Tai Chi (tai chi for wheelchair users/those with limited balance)

Every Wednesday at 1845-1945 Tai Chi for Health (adult beginners class)

Beginners are always welcome – these sessions teaching our unique Tai Chi for Health system – backed up by 35 scientific studies attesting to the health benefits of this system. Come for the exercise, the community, or come as a means of working towards better health (e.g. arthritis, balance, parkinsons, cardiovascular illness, depression, anxiety).

 Relax Kids – Family Sessions

Had a hectic week, want some family downtime? Why not try a Relax kids class with your family for children aged up to 10. Five pounds per session, with discounts for siblings. Drop-in Mindfulness Evening

Especially for graduates of our 8-week courses, or for those with more experience of mindful meditation, this special drop-in class will help you reconnect with your practice, deepen your understanding, and develop new strategies to stay present every day. Mindfulness Drop-in Sessions

At last! A daytime mindfulness group for you to come to in order to reconnect with yourself in a friendly, inclusive setting. Suitable for absolute beginners, and those experienced in mindfulness alike, these sessions run every Friday at the Willow Centre – plenty of free parking, disabled access, and a great light and airy space to practice. Sessions are just £6 each, or you can block book 6 sessions for just £30.

Once booked on for a course or workshop, you may cancel your attendance any time up to 14 days prior to the start of the course or workshop and receive a full refund. Because of the cost of running groups and producing materials, no refunds can be given after this timepoint.
